The General

All I did today was stitch on "The General" and 100 stitches on the computer bag.  I have to go to the store to get some floss for my Oldest UFO - SAL.
Lil'Bit has her 2 upper incisor (next to front teeth) teeth that poked through finally. I find it odd that they came out before her front 2 teeth. But I feel them just under the gums.

Happy Stitching.

The General - Day 2

Well today I decided to take a break from knitting my computer bag to work on my new found WIP.  As you can tell I don't start in the middle.  I have found that I end up skipping a spot - so I use the finished size, center that on my aida cloth, and pick a side to start with.  Since I have used that method I have not missed a stitch.
I didn't get much crafting done today. I had lunch with my sister and Lil'Bit was fussy because of teething.  I feel so bad for her, she can't use any of the  *caines for numbing her gums so we have had to go old school.  Ice rags, harder toys to chew on, and just trying to keep her mind off of hurting.  Hopefully it will not go on for long. I hate to see her suffer.  Maybe tomorrow will be better

Happy Stitching

Old Time Locomotives - The General

Going thru my WIP tote, I found a cross stitch project that I started a few months ago. It got put up and buried. So I have only worked on it one day.  The project can be found in For the Love of Cross Stitch March 1992 on pages 18-19. It is 2 of 2 in the Old-time Locomotives Collection.  I like that it only used a few colors so its easy to travel with. It seems to be a fast stitching because most of the colors are in straight lines - you don't have to constantly look back at the pattern.

For my supplies I am using Charles Craft 14 ct Ivory Aida & DMC floss.
