I am on a path to complete ALL of my crafting patterns that I have and any that I will collect in the future. Maybe it will stop me from buying more things until finish some of what I have put up to do...but then again maybe not :) I'm going to try and post what I do everyday. Hope you enjoy my crafting journey...

I started a new project & Whats upcoming 2012
Today I just didn't feel like working on anything that I had going on. I wanted something different to look at all day. So I went searching. I found a cross stitch kit from Janlynn -Tiger #013-3333. I know that that doesn't look like I did much but that is 200 stitches. I also worked on some Christmas presents. I want to try and finish at least 2 a week starting this week. I guess I better get to work on them.
I know this next bit it a little early..BUT starting on January 1, 2012 I am going to be having a Stitch a longs. One for Cross stitch (A year long Sampler), knitting (at least 1 afghan), Crochet - I haven't finalized those designs yet, and last but not least Quilting (50+ blocks). Starting in December I will list the needed materials for EACH Stitch a long.

Nice start, good luck with getting all those presents finished.
ReplyDeleteNice start. Good luck with your 2012 SAL's.
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel, sometimes we just don't want to works on our wips. I have this counted cross stitch picture over half way done but can't seem to want to work on it. I did finished the other picture I had started several years ago this year & had it framed. Maybe I will make it a goal to work just 30 minutes a day on it in 2012 and finish it. It is a beautiful picture a round birdhouse with all kinds of birds around it.
ReplyDeleteThat is what I have tried to do is spend at least 45 minutes a day crafting. Im hoping to increase that next year. Once Lil'Bit keeps getting more independent I can spend more time crafting.
